Excuses...

I feel like the last 8-9 months I've been such a slacker with keeping up with my photography. It isn't because I'm losing interest... it's because this pregnancy has been a rough one for me. It's actually odd because now that I'm towards the end and getting next to no sleep I actually feel like my energy is starting to go up! Crazy, I know! But, my husband and I aren't sure if we'll have more after this one, so I figured I really should document me during pregnancy... One thing I have learned for SURE is that taking good self-portraits is quite the challenge! But, I'm glad to have something documented from this pregnancy, especially where I don't feel like I just look like I'm carrying around a giant watermelon under my shirt!

In just a few weeks hopefully I'll be able to share pictures of my third little boy! I'm SO very very excited to have him here and to be able to share pictures of him with all of you! And to let up on excuses... a little... after all I have to enjoy my new little one!

Happy Mother's Day (sorry I'm late)

Life just always seems to get so busy! No matter what there always seems to be SO much more to do! But I sure do LOVE being able to take pictures of fun people and I have to say that I absolutely love doing photo shoots for people who are just SO naturally photogenic!

I mean really... can't you try to not look so cute! For Mother's Day these three sisters got together and organized getting family photos done for their mom... and I lucked out as their photographer!

The day started out with snow making us a little nervous having the kids out in it, but then it ended up sunny by the time we started shooting and no snow just a crazy cold wind that was blowing hair EVERYWHERE! Luckily we found a few spots where we could get some REALLY cute pictures!

What a fun family!!! And it all started with these two!

In The Cold

It is SO cold out! And yet this wonderful couple was willing to brave the cold (putting on jackets between shots)! What's crazy for me is back when I was in college I would babysit this wonderful girl on occasion! Oh my goodness... am I really getting that old!?!?!

I am finally just a few weeks away from when my little guy should arrive... I figured I should capture this last little bit before he actually comes and I've missed my last chance, so here are a couple of self-portraits that I did!

This is as close to an outie belly button that I will ever have!

Well, for those who don't already know... my excuse for why my postings have been some what sporadic for the last couple months is because I'm expecting!!!!

The doctors gave the due date of August 5th, so I'm not booking any appointments around that date! Specifically I'm not booking anything from July 10th until August 10th, sorry!

Running errands and talking on the phone,
